Costco has a prescription program for members. Enrollment is not automatic. You need to sign up at the pharmacy and it gets linked to your membership card. Insurance prices are often higher than cash price. This is controlled by your insurance and PBMs, not the pharmacy. Maybe there was a miscommunication about the type.
